TSB 2014 @ Mae Fah Lunag University, Chiang Rai, Thailand.
One oral and four posters of our research team were presented in the 26th Annual Meeting of the Thai Society for Biotechnology and International Conference (TSB2014) on November 26-29, 2014. We succeeded to share our research there and one of us got the best poster award in the conference.
Pseudomonas conference @ Switzerland
Dr. Adisak Romsang, together with Dr. Mayuree Fuangthong and Ms. Siriwan Boonma, went to University of Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland on September 7-11, 2013 for presenting our research work and sharing the work idea in Pseudomonas fields as international manner.
Romsang A, Duang-nkern J, Vattanaviboon P, Mongkolsuk S. The Pseudomonas aeruginosa iron-sulfur cluster regulator, IscR, controls genes in response to oxidative stress and antibiotic resistance. Poster presented in the Pseudomonas conference 2013: Genetic manipulation of Pseudomonads: applications in biotechnology and medicine; September 7-11, 2013, University of Lausanne, Lausanne, Switzerland.
Experiences in USA...
During Adisak's Ph.D. life, he have spent seven months for his research works at USA. He have great opportunities to do research at Prof. John D. Helmann’s laboratory, Department of Microbiology, Cornell University in USA, working on Bacillus subtilis molecular genetics and biochemistry in the project named Bacillithiol and metal stress response. In the end of November 2012, he has visited at Prof. Herbert P. Schweizer’s laboratory, Department of Microbiology, Colorado State University in USA, training on fosmid library construction in pathogenic bacterium, Burkhoderia pseudomallei. Dr. Adisak have presented his research works as a poster presented in the Gordon Research Conference 2012: Microbial Stress Response; July 15-20, 2012, Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA, USA.
